AIVRT PhD Researcher, Rachel Lapeyre, UCC wins NIBRT Poster Competition

I’m delighted to share that I have been awarded First Prize in the Poster Competition at the National Institute of Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) Research Conference 2025 https://www.nibrt.ie/nibrt-research-conference-2025/

It was a privilege to represent the AIVRT consortium at this conference themed “Ireland’s Role in Europe’s Biotech Future”, which showcased Ireland’s growing leadership in biotechnology.

My poster gave an overview of my PhD project, which focuses on the development of adenovirus vector-based vaccines against Staphylococcus aureus. The judges were from academia and industry, highlighting the cross-sector support for our work.
